Definitely do not watch news. Our new HHS Secretary has somehow managed to claim that the restrictions** on the CDC using any money to do research on guns and gun violence are a restriction on advocacy only. So of course they can do research so we can have evidence based solutions to gun violence.
Except he's going to make sure that any research focuses on non-gun related aspects of gun violence, like mental illness.

I know this is but one of many obvious questions, here, but how do you research gun violence without researching guns? Just, you know, curious.
