It took me a while, but after I commented elsewhere that I thought certain someones were trying to roll us back at least to 1860, i.e., pre-Civil War aka War of the Rebellion (as officially named at the time), it occurred to me. There's an upside to that, however miserably small. No Trumps. His grandfather didn't immigrate until the 1880s. I still wouldn't take the deal, but it's a nice thought.
