How is Leia a retconned Mary Sue? And, as I said, unless you disliked it because poc and wimmin, which I doubt is why you didn't like it, you totally aren't those people.
But now I want to know why you didn't like it :)

I've seen some dumb comments about how she floated back into the ship (which I thought was silly) and now she's basically a super powered force user when she never was. The real answer to that is that she was always force sensitive so her little flying thing there I don't believe was outside of the realm of possibility.
As for why I didn't like it: it felt clunky, poorly paced, and self-indulgent.

Clunky, poorly paced, and self-indulgent seems about right.
But we also saw Kylo Ren freeze a frickin' blaster bolt in the first film, so if they want to give Leia a moment of Force-using awesome that's a little deeper than staring mournfully off into the distance when something happens to someone else, it doesn't really hurt anything except that scene.

Completely fair point. And I somewhat agree, but the argument was that she wasn't a powerful force user and suddenly she is, with which I don't and the canon doesn't agree.
The whole space resurrection thing just seemed bizarre to me.

The staging of finally seeing her use the force was seriously melodramatic, but the overall concept was fine with me.
It would have been better if it had been obvious that she had somehow been able to keep, say, a 30 second bubble of air pressure around her, long enough to float to the other ship and protect her from sudden vacuum. Maybe using an obvious push in that direction which could be handwaved with physics in space. The Superman pose was a cheesy visual.
I agree that there were many execution issues and the pacing was wack. It didn't prevent me from enjoying it the first time, we'll see what happens upon further viewing.

I’m pretty sure she went back to the same ship? Back into the ruined bridge, where somehow Kylo was able to get her through a non air locked door without depressurizing.

If it helps, you tell tell yourself that she was, at the time, weightless, and so even a very weak use of the Force would have been enough to move her back to the ship.
(I had no problem with it visually when I saw it, but I can't actually remember it very well now. Maybe I'll see how goofy it looked when I re-watch. Or maybe I'll wonder what the fuss is about.)
