I am weak.
I am weak. I decided that I could not deal with standing outside for at least an hour in temperatures attempting to reach single digits just to see the first, best showing of The Last Jedi earlier tonight. It is supposed to be all the way up into the 20's Saturday, so I will probably go then. The second round of official festivities is supposed to happen at that time, so it will not be a totally silly thing to do.
I mean, I could have gone to a conventional theater and not had to freeze outside, but they will not have the local Troops there, and I much prefer to support the local geek theater, which is a restored true old fashioned neighborhood theater so the money stays in the community. The parking will be a disaster 'cuz it's in the city and they suck at plowing, but if I go early enough I should be able to find someplace I can park that's not too far away.
Meanwhile, I shall avoid spoilers.
