I know it may have happened in the past, but it really feels like this Congress, and it's previous 8+ years of existence, has been nothing but how to be obstructionist to achieve totalitarian rule by one party. The GOP is so busy trying to force an undemocratic, unrepublican tyranny of their rule on the country, they aren't governing it.
They're the ones who blocked all those judicial nominees for 8 years! Our government is supposed to try to balance the interests of majorities and minorities. That's why we have a House and a Senate, for crying out loud. How is this the party of Lincoln, again?
