I am disappointed that Trader Joe's has discontinued the seasonal Pumpkin Spice Chai mix (it was one of those dry powder chai things). However, I found their Pumpkin Scone Mix with Maple Flavored Icing.

It is not, of course, anything like a British tea scone. However, it is reasonably tasty, acceptably textured, not overly wet or overly dry. After a taste check, I didn't use their icing mix. There's nothing wrong with it, but I want my maple to taste strongly like maple. I just used powdered sugar and mixed it with maple syrup. Worked great. I did feel like the scones needed some icing, but they'd probably be ok by themselves with some butter. Or pumpkin butter.
