Update on the mom: She is tolerating her meds somewhat better, now that she is following directions somewhat better. Still has mild issues, but mostly she is functioning. I do think the meds are affecting her taste a little, but since her way of complimenting something is often 'it's good, here's what's wrong with it' you never know.
