Mom observations (momservations?):
She comments on a blue light high up on the lamp posts while we're driving and asks if those are security cameras or if they indicate those help phones. (They've apparently installed London type watch you all the time cameras on public streets in certain areas.)
So I start to say they are too high up ... never getting to finish, and she immediately says (in a nasty, aggressive tone of voice) I'm not stupid, I know those are too high up to reach.
I didn't say you were stupid.
Well, you obviously think I am.
Etc.
Oooo-kay. I mean, I did eventually get to finish and explain that the blue lights for the phones are (confusingly) the same, but they are down at the level of the phone (where, yes, you can reach them), and that those little black half-orbs are the security cameras. But wtf? How do you even get anything from that that is calling you stupid?
Get help, lady.
