In honor of Pumpkin Spice Latte: The Horror! month, I give you things I have seen:
1. Local goat dairy that makes delicious chevre. I would actually eat both of these.
2. Peeps - if their mere peepness does not deter you, perhaps the "decadent white fudge" coating will.
3. The most disgusting to me, personally. It is even more neon orange in person, and it is only minimally milk. It is mostly sugar, with a long list of chemicals as ingredients.
To be fair, none of these has that extra ick factor of being on a pizza, but some things are not permitted under the Geneva Conventions.

I wonder how much of the "pumpkin spice" phenomenon has a subconscious thought of pumpkin juice á la Harry Potter. They do sell such a thing at the parks, although it isn't really 'spiced'. shop.universalorlando.com - Pumpkin Juice 4 Pack | Universal Orlando™
ReplyDeleteQuite possible that had a huge effect.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I wasn't super impressed with either the pumpkin juice or the butterbeer at Universal, to be honest. I mean, I'd think the butterbeer would be easier to come up with, but neither one was all that tasty to me.
I like the frozen butterbeer.
ReplyDeleteI don't remember any pumpkin juice in Harry Potter, although the wikia says that it was mentioned frequently.
ReplyDeleteI want those cheeses and I want them now.
ReplyDeleteThey are things I can bring to MI next time I come. Not sure these flavors will still be around, though. I suspect they are this year's seasonal offering.
