Trigger Warning.
Trigger Warning.
Apparently, Netflix did a crime series that was released approximately one month ago about the unsolved murder of a nun in Baltimore in 1969. It's seriously messed up and involves sexual abuse of high school students by a priest, among other things. I never heard of any of this until this NPR story.
Because of the NPR thing, I looked it up and found the Esquire article. It rings true, and it's kind of terrifying.
The Catholic church has a lot to answer for.
