It's not as great as Columbia Gorge but there are some good waterfalls. I hear the Porcupine Mountains are good but I have not been there yet. Marquette is a quaint hangout city. That's kind of all I got.
ReplyDeleteEdit: of course Lake Superior, easily the best Great Lake. Duh.
Megan Frank and I went last year, and liked it. I mean, we were all the way onto the banks of Lake Superior, so I don't know the extent to which it's representative, and we were also on some old mining flats where we saw shit blow up, but that was awesome, so.

ReplyDeleteI love it very very much. Twelve Mile Beach is that picture in my head that happens whenever anyone says "ok picture your happy place."
