I have worked for and around people like this, but never this bad. Unless the communications staff is the source of the leaks, which they cannot be for almost any of it because they weren't there, they bear no responsibility for his mouth and his and his people's complete incompetence at the jobs of being potus and running a white house and the executive branch of the US gov't.

Not that that will stop him. He clearly has whatever frame of mind is required to believe nothing is ever your responsibility or fault. Thus worse than a child because a sufficiently young child is theoretically not capable of certain levels of understanding. Whereas, his scapegoating indicates he clearly understands the concepts of responsibility or fault. Although he conflates them and seems to feel that a specified individual has to be at fault for everything and it is never him.

P.S. The communications staff is not a PR firm, and even a PR firm would have trouble with a client who constantly undermines their efforts.
