Awesome. The inevitability of timing.

Awesome. The inevitability of timing.

The refrigerator/freezer died last night. We have cleaned up the lake on the kitchen floor, I have negotiated with my mother not to get so bent out of shape and she is actually letting me throw some things out. We have assembled the coolers and I am off to fetch some ice. If there is any left anywhere.

Major appliances dying on a holiday weekend. Inevitable.

  1. Ice achieved. In both blocks and cubes. Meanwhile, mom will see if can get a hold of the repair folks tomorrow and see how long before they will be here.

I know repairs are often so much that you might as well get a new fridge, but I hope not. Mom is already going stressful about it. Legitimately, this fridge they have is a size that would be weird, now, so it may be difficult to find something that fits the space they have. Also, it would be beyond fortunate to find anything that fits with the aesthetic of the kitchen.

Won't Dad be surprised when he gets home today from spending the weekend with my niece and sister, who will also be arriving late this pm or early this evening. Ha ha ha.
