My reward for being willing to drive into the city in this weather. (They live up to their terrible reputation for slow street clearing.)

I went and saw "Ocean Waves", which is Studio Ghibli but definitely not Miyazaki. Survey says: meh. Seriously underwhelming and pedestrian with terrible pacing, banal story, much too long, and plain old boring.

BUT the local theater that is the local Miyazaki/Anime and general nerd movie haven had these Totally Awesome shirts (also tank tops and sweatshirts). And I can nao haz one.

Potato pic notwithstanding. It is all Miyazaki movies. And some pocky, and some bubble tea, which are things they have at the refreshment stand when they are showing anime. It is best shirt.
