I wonder how long it will take before everyone decides this is normal and goes back to the way cross-border travel used to be? I'm not sanguine that that will ever happen, but even though it seems like years, I know it hasn't even been 2 months. So maybe the administration will calm down and lull people into a sense of normalcy.
