NPR has come down on the side of if you can't prove intent, you can't call someone a liar. This is fair, but it prompts me to ask: can you call them delusional? There's no intent with delusional, nor does the definition of the term require a medical diagnosis. #alternativefacts #darkesttimeline

  1. I think they do use the adjective "false," though. (Saying someone said something false is not the same as calling them a liar... I'll take what I can get.)
