Harsh but brilliant way to remind people of where they are when they take selfies. And I don't think it is too much to ask of people to respect what a memorial or cemetery or gravesite represents if they are going to photograph it at all. And taking a photo is very different from taking a selfie. Some pieces of history should not be treated casually, even if the artist of the memorial doesn't care.
