thesweethome.com - The Best Immersion Blender recommends Breville.
ReplyDeleteI like my Cuisinart one. Make sure you get a metal body though.
ReplyDeleteF-L Silver we have a cuisinart which has served us well and is cheap. I don't know if this is our exact model but: Cuisinart Smart Stick CSB-75BC 200 Watt 2 Speed Hand Blender, Brushed Chrome https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ARQVM5O/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_nrwuyb5E1RGFZ
ReplyDeleteI have a Cuisinart Smart Stick and love it.

cool story bro-75bm
I also heart the cuisinart smart stick.
ReplyDeletePlussing the cool story bro-75bm.
ReplyDeleteAlthough that breville looks pretty solid. I'd like to take the Pepsi challenge with mine.
ReplyDeleteAll of you have used your sticks to make the Serious Eats quickie mayo, yes?
ReplyDeleteI've made super thick vinaigrettes but not mayo. What the hell am I doing with my life...
ReplyDeleteI can't remember if I ever made the quickie mayo :(
ReplyDeletethis sounds dirty btw
ReplyDeleteOne advantage of the Cuisinart: It's about $35 MSRP. So even if you hate it, you haven't spent a lot of money to hate it.
ReplyDeleteAfternoon delight, nudge nudge wink wink.
ReplyDeletei have made the quickie mayo with mine. I also make homemade ranch dressing with it every week.
ReplyDeleteAlso typically with the cuisinart you get a 2c measuring cup. Even if you hate the stick blender, hey measuring cup.
ReplyDeleteHey Bethany Willick what do you use for your ranch? I've made some but it's too real?
ReplyDeleteNice - I will have to get that ranch recipe some time.
ReplyDeleteninja'd :)
ReplyDeletewhat is too real ranch like
ReplyDeleteKenneth Cavness like real herbs and stuff. I don't know. It's good but I feel bad dipping my pizza in it like god intended.
ReplyDeleteYESSSS SOMEONE ELSE RANCHES AND PIZZAS
ReplyDeleteit comes out slightly differently every week, because I don't go real close to a recipe. I found a recipe for a copycat version of chuy's ranch dipping sauce that is exact and delicious, but for dressing it uses too little buttermilk and is slightly too spicy. I found another recipe that uses too much and it is too thin. One cup of buttermilk, a bunch of sour cream and mayo, a bunch of herbs and garlic, and some vinegary hot sauce (cholula?) . Experiment with combinations. Lemon zest, dijon, and onion also are good sometimes
ReplyDelete(i love ranch dressing)
That Chuy's ranch dipping sauce is legit great but no, I wouldn't dip my pizza in it.
ReplyDeleteKenneth Cavness yeah, like I said, I borrowed ideas heavily from that recipe, and also from another one
ReplyDeleteI'm voting for the Cuisinart smart stick too - I've had lots of them because they eventually succumb to the abuse of soapmaking, but they're amazing nonetheless.
ReplyDeleteOh and they're good in the kitchen too but that's way less of a test of the thing.
