While I endorse this idea in principle, I am concerned that it is not more detailed, documented, and precise.

While I endorse this idea in principle, I am concerned that it is not more detailed, documented, and precise.

For one thing, you are making choices about whom you might be hurting versus helping.

For another thing, large retailers will not notice if a handful of people generically boycott their stores at large. They will notice if people very specifically do not buy the precise products that are made by, marketed by, are associated with or carry the Trump name and contribute to Trump profits. Stores don't stock brands that don't sell.

Finally, if you really want a complete Trump boycott list, you have to include every resort, hotel, condo, or other property or endeavor that is associated with the family. For example, the proposed luxury brand hotels called Scion, which is reportedly the Trump kids'.

I have a specific example of my concerns about the brush being too broad and not sufficiently thoughtful which I'll post separately.
