TIL that it is legal for foreign nationals to volunteer in a political campaign so long as no money or monetary related activities of any kind are involved.
I looked it up.
Because today a whole bunch of people came down from "the true north strong and free" to help make calls. Beauty, eh?
P.S. They drove 2.5-3 hours each way to do this, you guys. That is more commitment than most of the people who could vote in the election.
P.P.S. Yeah, yeah, foreign interference. This affects them too, and they don't get a vote. Plus, they probably don't want us moving there.
