They seem to usually be ridiculous and used as a "fundraiser". Occasionally somebody tries to keep them from getting out of line. So, you know, $50K or less.

Of course, it seems the hypocrisy of this versus the supposed money grubbing of the Clintons during the campaign is not lost on a few people. Draining the swamp is probably a prelude to putting in a landfill and some expensive exclusive estates and condos for the new administration's "friends".

I'm pretty sure there's an irony dead zone inside the beltway.
