Well, you are not teaching the lesson you suppose you are. You are reinforcing the idea that you are small-minded and petty. You are wealthy and privileged and spoiled. You are exceedingly arrogant for someone who could be considered 'hispanic' under the equal opportunity laws I presume you despise, having at least one Puerto Rican grandparent. Obviously, the Italian part of your family somehow also miraculously avoided the stereotyping and prejudice Italian immigrants were subjected to, because you seem to have no empathy, whatsoever.
