ReplyDeleteWow, I remember when they were building it. Didn't realize this was happening, though (I don't always follow local news very closely). The new Transbay Terminal that they're in the middle of building runs right next to it, and last time I was down there (a week or so ago), I noticed they're putting in a pedestrian bridge type thingy from the terminal to this building. Wonder what effect an ongoing "lean" will have on that...
ReplyDeleteAlso, the new Salesforce Tower that is being built literally right across the street right now, and will be even taller. I sure hope they went the "pricey" route and drilled to bedrock. (I used to walk by when they were prepping the foundation, but I didn't get to investigate how deep they were going, obvs.)
