  1. Anti bacterial soaps tend to be overkill unless you're in a hospital or food serving venue.

  2. [though when we were in Costa Rica a few years ago and BF got injured, the hospital told us to go to the store and buy antibacterial soap to use until we got back to the US. We saw no neosprin on the shelves. ]

  3. This is definitely about marketing in the US and whether or not their claims can be substantiated. The FDA seems to think not.
