* GASP * Google plus says I did not tell you about the arepas! I gather there can be many versions. This one is large, messily dripping with juice, crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and is served with some kind of spicy red sauce. As you can see, there is much meat. The arepa itself is made of ground corn meal/flour. If you'd had one, this picture would be causing you to salivate.
Oh, and there's black beans. I kid. The black beans were also super tasty and delicious and well cooked without being smooshy. Would eat again.
This place seriously overfeeds you for very little money. I'm not sure if it is good or bad that it is down in a borderline sketchy industrial neighborhood right by the highway and the river.
