Serena Williams is the arguably one of the best athletes, ever. She played, and won, the Wimbledon Ladies Singles title at 9am, then played, and won, the Ladies Doubles with her sister Venus at 2pm. I guess I'd call that a good day.

Just to add: Serena has done this before in 2002, 2009, and 2012. Venus has done the same double/single Wimbledon combo in 2000 and 2008. (Never mind how many not-particularly-combined titles they've had, or non-Wimbledon grand slam titles or even combos)(also I expect that in several of the years mentioned above the other Singles finalist was the other sister)
