Oh, good, we're under a boil water advisory. Which they did a terrible job communicating to people as it seems to have been declared in the middle of the night but they thought just letting the news media know would get the message out. People know now, though, after a lot of us bathed or brushed our teeth or drank water from the faucet this morning. -_-
Fortunately, although there is now an all out run on water at the stores, it sounds like so far they think the risks are low but have to wait for the tests, which take 18 hours or something to come back. Yaaaay.

ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry. What's causing the advisory?
Also, if you go to a REI (or equivalent) would a backpack water filtration system be enough to make it safe? That might be easier to find at this point.
ReplyDeleteMajor water main leak/break. Yes re: REI, and I even thought of it, but we don't have them here. :(
ReplyDeleteCabela's?
ReplyDeleteIf it doesn't resolve before we run out of soda water, which we have, I may do that.
ReplyDeleteF-L Silver Ugh. Good luck with it resolving soon!
