Dad screwed up again

they came a different time and day than they said

they didn't say anything, they just started working on the house - until there was a problem - oops
they argued that they knew what and how to do things, and didn't want to listen about the homeowner's understanding of the screens and how they worked - i.e., if they tell you they've had problems and prefer to have things done a certain way, or check it, you should either say, hey, we need to call base because this is different than what we thought we were here for, or ask the homeowner how they want to handle things, or say we can't do this because it's not what we thought so we'll tell the office to reschedule, or something.

Dad cannot handle anyone being angry. Everyone has to be happy, and the guys have to all just chum along. Plus, he cannot separate the anxiety mom's verbal attacks generate for him personally from how you need to behave with other people. So once she ramps up, he gets ramped up. While he's trying not to freak out, she's out making trouble for everyone in the name of fixing it - making sure everyone knows she's angry, she doesn't like it, she has a problem; making sure she's in control and dominating; making sure everyone knows what they are doing wrong and telling them all about it before demanding what they are going to do to make her happy and fix it the way she wants it.
AND if it really bothers him, he needs to be ok with having a fight/argument with her, but he can't handle fights and arguments, so he just fumes, and gets mad, and walks away and plays stupid games and says stupid things and makes it worse. To be fair, once she's set off, you can't shut her down, she just escalates. It's very hard to go to the people on the other side and ask what's their perspective and easily resolve things because she basically won't let you, and she's probably already got them completely freaked out and defensive and angry.
It's awesome.
