Did a another day where tried the juicing thing.
1) By the end of the day, I was chew my leg off to get out of this trap hungry. That didn't happen the first time, but I'm not sure what was so different. I certainly wasn't calorie deprived, but it might be from all the inherent sugars causing my body to get a sort of high/low thing.
2) It occurred to me that there are two things of possible concern about juicing, at least, if you do it regularly. One, there's a lot of fruit acid in this and that's an issue for erosion of tooth enamel. Two, even though the sugars are natural fruit sugars, it's still a lot of carbs and sugars. Probably not awesome? Definitely not for diabetics.
3) It turns out that cantaloupe and beets are pretty high in potassium, so that's a way of getting some of that in your juice.
4) I am pretty sure fasting for a day is probably less problematic if you really want to give your body a break. Esp if that means you do the kind where you are allowed to eat something later.
