Other catching up.
Other catching up. The inflammation, swelling, and goo which was my body's response to viral invasion has taken an asymptotic approach to resolution. I, of course, feel there should be an axial intersection, post-haste. We shall see. Meanwhile, I have gone through gallons of tea, along with other liquids, and over a pound of honey in said tea. Sigh.
On the third day of illness, while a fever was still part of the deal, I woke up with a novel set of lyrics running through my head. I was confused at first, but my brain seems to do these things on its own. To the general bits of the melody of "I Feel Pretty":
I feel crummy, oh so crummy,
it's not funny how crummy I feel.
What a dummy
to catch something that made me so ill.
I feel yucky, oh so yucky,
it's unlucky how yucky I feel,
and so stuffy I can hardly breathe a thing at all.
My nasopharyngeal tissues
have swollen to three times their size.
They're blocking all my nasal passages
with secretions which are mucilaginous.
Clearly, I was quite ill.
