Interesting.

Interesting. People jumped down NPRs throat, or they jumped down their own, either way, about something a known commentator said that criticized Trump because it was against journalistic integrity and impartiality. Meanwhile, The New York Times is doing the traditional thing and taking the truth and shading it to their purpose. Iow, integrity and impartiality my gluteal sarcomeres. Oh, but the facts are technically correct.

  1. Well, it sounds like a pretty stupid window dressing issue to me, but whatever. In this case, she ain't wrong about Trump and at least she had the integrity to just say something.

That the Times got caught deliberately spinning something is just one of those things you hope people will process and pay attention to. It's business as usual, but it doesn't work as well if people catch you out.

  2. Ironically, the article does not now appear to feature anything about Cokie Roberts?
