It is not perfect, but I still really enjoy Galavant, of which I've finally caught up with the last episodes of Season 2. I really hope they renew this for a third season, it has potential! Also, now, ... uh, ok, in case anyone else is watching it and hasn't seen the rest of the season before me ... here's some spoiler space ...

As I was saying, also now with a real dragon! Which was off camera and really just sound and lighting effects because I guess they have some budget limits. But the sheep was real! Poor sheep.
Still don't get the potty humor, but there was less. The self-referential humor is generally quite good, although they were doing it an awful lot, here. Actual evil mustache twirling. Nice touch! Duet on screen with your own inner child as you are about to be killed by an undead army - nice touch. Revoltingly cutesy evil magic duet gets points for satirizing every perky, cheerful Disney magic song, ever. Did they reference the remake of The Thomas Crown Affair?! Extras rescue the principals, nice. Weird Al returns with the singing monks - Extra Nice! Amusing bits of LOTR, AGOT, random Arthuriana.
Possible favorite snark comes early in last episode where Childe Richard is being sucked up to by other children afraid of Youthe Gareth and his intimidation tactics. One of the kids asks if future King Richard would like him to write a theme song for him and Youthe Gareth says, "Shut up, Mencken." Huh, huh? Funny? Well, I think so.
Anyway, they could totally do more seasons and I hope ABC decides to renew so they won't have to
"go and get work
on some cheap ass cable network".
Sometimes the lyrics to the songs are truly excellent. (If they do, they have to resurrect Wormwood.)
In conclusion, I'd just like to say: I SUPER BELIEVE IN YOU, TAD COOPER. Thank you.
