So I tried the new poutine place 'cuz it was on the way back from my interview this morning. Meh. The fries are really good fries, the cheese curds are squeaky, the portion sizes are good. The gravy is, ok. I'm not so sure I like the flavor of it. Thing is, the gravy is not hot enough to melt the cheese curds, or the cheese curds are not the best possible cheese curds, because it's supposed to melt into this delicious melange of almost like a mashed potatoes with melted cheese and gravy thing. Not quite, you should still be able to tell there are components, but the components shouldn't be so sturdy they never meld into one another. Would not eat again.
