Who knew there were so many versions of this song? (Thank you, independent radio station.) I don't think they've even played whatever special it's from in forever, but the song lives!

My favorite is the hard rock version, although I like the faster tempo and driving beat of the punk rock version. The Big Bad Voodoo Daddies have the 1920's vibe down and when their bassist sings in the latter half, the vocals are great. Of course, that's what the original was, so you might as well just go with that, then. Although I kinda like the vocals from the bassist better than the original. He's got that gravelly thing and a classic evil laugh.

P.S. Torn between impressed with all the work needed and annoying light displays in the video for BIg Bad Voodoo Daddies version. Yes, there was one without it, but why would I link to that? Note the singing reindeer chorus.
