Post number 6. We're almost there! I'm saving my personal favorite for the last one. This post is probably the most well known of these lesser known pieces of Classical Christmas Music. 20th century British composer Benjamin Britten's A Ceremony of Carols. Originally written SSA, it was relatively quickly arranged for SATB and is performed in both versions pretty regularly.

What is really special about this is that it is a showcase piece for the harp, which is the only accompaniment and very virtuosic in places. In the performances I've done, the "Procession" and "Recession" were done a cappella, as were other bits like the beginning solo of "Balulalow", but there seem to be some versions where the harp plays, as in the link below.
