It appears that my decision not to go to downtown Toronto just to see The Hateful Eight in 70mm has been corroborated by random happenstance. To wit, there was apparently some horrible accident on the QEW in Oakville around 9pm last night and the highway is still closed. The radio says people died, there was fire and damage to the actual road, fog didn't help, and they keep pushing back when they think the road will open again.
It's not that there aren't alternate ways to get there from here, but the traffic is bad enough when the major roads are open. Yeah, pretty sure even though the roads will be open again by Fri/Sat I am taking that as confirmation I should not go if I'm not super motivated.
