Link Four will be more Frenchy (not Belgy) stuff. Skip ahead to the early Baroque for Marc-Antoine Charpentier. I have a fondness for his harpsichord music, which this isn't. We herewith link to his Messe de Minuit pour Nöel. Perhaps its most unique quality is that it incorporates noëls, or Christmas carols. In fact, it is entirely based on them, with original music by Charpentier, as well. Afaik, this is the first time anyone did that (that is, they didn't just sing the carols as part of a service, the carols were the basis for the Mass music itself). It's also the only actual Mass I'm going to link to.
