Those of you who live with other people - do you feel compelled to talk to them every single time you see them somewhere in your domicile? or are you capable of existing in the same space without requiring conversation and confirmation of your existence?

  1. Mike and I are pretty good at existing within the same space without consistent interaction. If I'm bored, I'll seek him out and vice versa.

  2. Only since I now live in an extrovert-free house.

(Though I do usually at least acknowledge the presence with a nod or a "hey" (or more likely a "butts"), but I don't really count that. It's mostly reflex and not intended to provoke or demand conversation.)

  3. Yeah, if we pass each other we might give a heeeeey but it's not meant to invite conversation and doesn't even always happen.

  4. I think Tori and I will interact (usual briefly, but sometimes a brief conversation sparks a long discussion) most times we're both in the same shared space (kitchen, lounge, etc), but not if one of us walks down the hall, past the study the other is in. #spreadsheet
