The minimal snow from last evening has decided we needed its constant intermittent presence, punctuated by bursts of at-least-it's-not-hail graupel. Occasional bouts of sunshine bust the overcast, which means you get that awesome post-storm light. Then it goes back to overcast and precipitate. Man, I hope this does not presage another Little Ice Age winter.
