Another reason I have to get my life in order - there's nothing but Starbucks, and even that is stunted. No, really, there are probably 8 stand-alone stores in this metro area (not including Target, University, and other types of locations), and they don't even have a full blown Starbucks around here. There used to be a lot of coffee/cafe places thru the early 2000's. I don't know what happened, but they are gone and what little has appeared to fill in is terrible. I think my only option at this point is to consider Barnes and Noble, which is a Starbucks variant.  Ugh. How do people live like this?
