For those of you to whom this would be of interest, there's a proposed rules change for the federal regs about human research (iow IRB rules). This is the 131 page Federal Register with that proposal in it. (It's the government; of course it's ridiculously long.) The comment period is open until, I think, just after thanksgiving (Dec 5?). So, if you wanna know what they're changing, and have an opportunity to tell them what you think, here it is.
