Weather is weird. The strawberry season wasn't very good this year because it rained too much in May and June, then the late June/early July berries (raspberries and blackberries) were amazing. Now, the blueberry season, which usually runs July into September, has been super short due to hot, dry weather (I'm not sure if they even got a full month out of it?). I haven't seen too many late strawberries and raspberries, yet, so that remains to be seen. Also wondering about late rhubarb.
Meanwhile, the tree fruits that were early to mid-July did great (all the cherries, some plums, apricots, early peaches), but then anything from about mid-July on has been unpredictable. Like, some of the best peaches were around for 1-2 weeks, and then they've gone into other peach types, which are so far kind of meh. Maybe the late peaches that come in September will be better.
