Ok.
Ok. My sternocleidomastoid can stop being a pain, now. Literally. It decided I would wake up in significant discomfort Tuesday and has refused to improve itself in spite of ice, heat, stinky ointments, professional therapeutic massage, hot showers, and pills.
It's doing all the stupid textbook things: occipital headache, ear ache, slight vertigo (although I got really nauseated at one point - probably from the severity of the pain, but not necessarily just that), pain extending into my shoulder and upper back. My head won't turn in that direction, and if I force it to, well, don't do that, that was stupid and unbelievably painful. I am seriously wishing I could get my hands on some botox, right now, even with the risk of side effects.
