I scared a bunny :( I didn't mean to. It seemed to think under my car was a good place to be. Until I turned it on. [P.S. My car is AWESOME!!! It lives outside and it started right up at -6F (I waited until it warmed up outside).]
Anyway, the bunny didn't like that noise, and it jumped up a 4 ft snowbank and ran and made a burrow in the 4+ ft deep snow in the yard. I was impressed, I did not know bunnies could make 4-5ft standing leaps. I am also impressed that it made a new entrance to its burrow that fast. We presume the actual burrow is still in the ground under the back porch. Probably, the bunny has been making snow tunnels somewhere to get to it. However, this is the first top-down burrow entrance we have seen.
Poor bunny.
