Depending on which weather report you note, they are promising to break the 20 degree barrier today. I suspect this is untrue as most are not this generous, and, in any case, we shall be dragged back across it immediately even in the most optimistic of models. The real tease is that this weekend is supposed to be close to, or, perish the thought, above freezing. I'll believe it when I see it. Which probably involves something to do with the physics of why frost forms on your glasses, or some such.

    We hit 21 yesterday, and we have the same warmish weekend forecast, but between now and then is scary brutal.
