Well, presumably to no one's surprise, I tried to see the comet, again. It's not completely clear, but there are frequent breaks in the cloud cover and it's moving fast, so you can get quick looks through. Regretfully, while I got a great look at the Pleiades, I did not manage to sight Lovejoy. I did frostbite my fingers, but I guess that's a risk when you are trying to use binoculars outside in zero degrees minus windchill while checking a star chart. They're still red and swollen, but they've stopped hurting, now.
