I'm just curious.

I'm just curious. At what point does the public beat their politicians about the head and neck over not fighting a situation that results in our gas prices going up to $2.85/gal while the news is trumpeting they have fallen, yet again, nationally? You know whose gas is more expensive? Hawaii. Even Alaska is below $3/gal, now, and falling. I'd have said, "... and Canada, of course", except that the listed price of gas in Edmonton is the same as what we are paying. It's still more expensive everywhere else in Canada. Nevertheless, the idea that gas prices anywhere in Canada are the same or less than anywhere in the US, well, as Luke Skywalker might have said, "That's impossible!"

P.S. If you ferret around, there's a few places with gas for $2.75-$2.78, but how much gas and time are you wasting finding it?

  1. Ok, so that part of it is happening. Love to know why.

  2. Weird, I paid $1.95 last night. Usually Toledo is cheaper than Detroit by a few cents.
