"There were positive aspects to nazi rule" is not one that really shocks me. Ask the right leading questions and you'll get that result. At least the trains ran on time! Heh. Heh. (gargle.) (that one's more commonly said of Mussolini here — over here even that much positivity about Herr Hitler would not be politic. But then they conquered us, we didn't Anschluss. I'm sure there's similarly trite bullcrap you can say about der Führer.)
ReplyDeleteBut a fifty percent "we think the nazis might get a significant amount of votes if they could run", that's more shocking. Although given the success of Jorg Haider, maybe I'd say yes to that one as well. But I do find it telling that the article seems to be trying to conflate that statement with "I might vote for the nazis".
But then again, it's the daily fail. A more wretched hive of right wing scum and villainy...
