My dad made it through 11/14 days of chemo, with decreased treatment days 10 & 11. He did get his eyes checked, and the general inflammation reaction, although it was making them red and swollen, did not affect the inside of his eyes or the eyeballs themselves, which is very good. He is starting to heal, now, but it will be a long time and he still feels awful, although relatively better, and doesn't look so good, either. He kind of lost his appetite toward the end but has been willing to try to eat something once a day, like, at least a piece of bread with peanut butter or an apple.
