Ok, why is google plus now sending me a bunch of emails when a few people post certain kinds of posts? It's not even every time they post, but it is annoying.
Ugh, this is a bug that happens sometimes for some people for weird reasons. Is it just for picture posts or text only ones too?

ReplyDeleteYeah, annoyingly that’s a weird bug that no one has really been able to figure out why, and there’s nothing you can do to keep from getting the emails. Apparently for certain people, sometimes, if they post a picture to a specific circle or circles (like, say, their Video Gamers circle) that will send an email to certain people, even though the poster did not request this nor did the receiver. However, if they instead post to the Your Circles, uh, circle, it won’t. You can edit the Your Circles circle to only include specific circles, though the default is just everyone. I think that’s what we figured out? Anyway, it’s dumb and terrible and unless something has changed there’s sadly nothing you can do. :\
